This is a question that is often asked by users of Tinder. Many don’t know this, but this dating application does not automatically see who has liked your profile. There is still a trick to seeing them, but to do this, you would probably have to scan for a long time before coming across a photo framed in blue, the profile of the person who liked you. Fortunately Tinder is now thinking about integrating this functionality with Tinder Gold.
What’s the point of seeing your Tinder likes?
On most dating apps, when you like someone, it’s mutual: you both get a notification that you like each other. But on Tinder, things work a little differently. When you like someone on Tinder, they don’t necessarily get a notification about it. So what’s the point of seeing your preferences? Is it just to keep track of who you’ve loved? Or is there more to it?
One possible explanation is that Tinder wants to make sure you’re really interested in someone before you let them know it. After all, if you’re casually scrolling through profiles and liking everyone you see, that’s not really fair to the people you’re aligned with. By making you wait to see your preferences, Tinder forces you to be more thoughtful about who you’re interested in. And that can only be a good thing.
Another possibility is that Tinder is trying to create a sense of urgency. If you see that someone has liked you but you’re not sure when they did it, you may be more inclined to act quickly and reach out before they lose interest. In a way, it’s a way of encouraging people to take action instead of sitting around and waiting for things to happen.
Whatever the reason, seeing your likes on Tinder can be helpful in a few different ways. It forces you to be more selective and thoughtful, and it also creates a sense of urgency that may encourage you to contact your correspondents sooner rather than later. Next time you wonder Why your preferences are hidden on Tinder, remember that there may be a good reason for this.
How to see them?
Tinder is a dating app that allows you to see potential partners in the geographic area you specify. You can swipe to the right if you like the person, or to the left if you don’t like them. If you and another person both swipe right on each other’s profiles, you’re compatible! You can chat with your partner through the app, but it’s up to you if you want to meet in person.
Although Tinder is essentially free to use, there is a paid version of the app called Tinder Plus. With Tinder Plus, you have access to some features that are not available in the free version. One of these features is the ability to see who liked your profile. On the free version of Tinder, only people you’ve liked will see that you’ve liked them back; but with Tinder Plus, anyone who likes your profile will be shown to you, whether you liked them back or not.
This feature can be useful to know who is interested in you and to get an idea of how popular your profile is. To find out who liked your profile on Tinder Plus, simply go to the Messages tab and look for the “Like” section. You will then be able to see a list of all the profiles that liked yours. You can then decide if you want to return the favor or just ignore their Like. Either way, it’s always helpful to know who’s interested in you on Tinder!
No more secret lovers
Tinder Gold will be a new paid membership tier on Tinder. Its test was announced last year. It will be an even more complete version than Tinder Plus with the Likes You functionality. This will allow you to consult directly on the interface of the app that liked our profile. Therefore, no more secret likes. Tinder will probably lose some of its charm with Likes You, because many love it especially for this little mystery.
A service still being tested
Tinder Gold is not yet available to the general public in Europe. Mexican, Argentinian, Canadian and Australian users are the first to be able to enjoy it. The publisher will probably automatically offer it as one of the possible subscription options if they find that people love it.
Why go hunting for likes?
This question seems obvious to Tinder enthusiasts, but new users may not understand it yet. If this is your case, know that on Tinder, you must like a person’s profile and they must like you in return to have a match. And only from then on can you start a conversation on this application. So, we would like to know who liked us to see if we can also like them back in order to speed up the dating process.
In my opinion, seeing Tinder likes is useless!
There is no doubt that online dating has changed the way we meet potential partners. Whereas before we might meet someone at a bar or through a friend, today we are increasingly likely to meet someone through a dating app like Tinder. One of the main features of Tinder is that you can see how many likes you have, which gives you an idea of how popular you are on the platform. However, I think this feature is unnecessary and can actually lead to feelings of insecurity. First of all, the number of likes you have is often arbitrary and does not necessarily reflect your attractiveness or interest. Second, seeing how many likes you have can give you a false sense of popularity, which can hurt your self-esteem. In my opinion, it’s better to go for quality over quantity when it comes to likes on Tinder.
